We are currently seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and reliable professional with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive or equipment repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles or machinery while upholding high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles or equipment
-Perform general repairs including but not limited to clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, AC, oil changes, bolt on components, and replace transmissions
-Tag all warranty parts and returns, take photos
-Document all work performed clearly and accurately
-Adhere strictly to safety procedures and company policies
-Take part in ongoing training and development programs
-Make minor welding repairs
Required Qualifications
-High school diploma or GED
-Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a technician (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred)
-Basic computer skills and the ability to use digital repair documentation
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
-Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (e.g., shop or garage setting)
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
