Responsible for performing high volume cash and non-cash transactions with internal and externalguestsin acourteous, accurate, andtimelymanner. Performs daily tasks in the cage operations areas, including table fills and table credits.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Cage Cashier – job functions

  • Works in Cage front window/Chip Bank and other employee service areas. Works in other departmental areas assigned.

  • Responsible for performing Table Fills and Table credits, high volume EGD jackpots, issuance of venue banks, and employee transactions in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner.

  • Computesallmonetarytransactions.

  • Duties include General Check Cashing, Cash Advances, CR transactions, Sportsbook transactions, and other Casino cashier transactions. Works in other departmental areas assigned.

  • AssistsintheissuanceandpaymentofCasinoCreditinstruments.

  • Maintainsaccuratetransactionandauditablebalancingpractices.

  • Maintains strict adherence to the department policies and procedures are necessary to maintainintegrityofthe cash operation.

  • MaintainsastrongknowledgeofTitle31requirements.

  • Replenishes and balances ticket redemption machines and performs any other duties related totheticketredemptionmachines.

  • Conveys a consistently professional, friendly, and courteous manner, in interactions with allguestsandemployees.

  • Other duties assigned.

Main Banker – job functions

  • Works in the Main Bank and Employee Service areas. Works in other departmental areasassigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • Proficient in English verbal and written with the ability to read, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write simple reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED plus a combination of equivalent working experience and education and knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc. Must have a strong mathematical ability, the ability to work in a physical demanding area as well as be familiar with a high volume and fast paced environment. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Flexible with working various shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours if applicable. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment, being gracious to all guests and co-workers, and for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company- sponsored events. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures that behavior and appearance comply with established standards. Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able regularly push/pull or lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally push/pull or lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly required to stand up to 8 hours, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit and taste or smell.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Will require access to all general areas of the gaming facility and the cage/main bank areas and must regularly access patron personal data including credit information.
  • Ability to work in an environment where you are exposed to secondary smoke, frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, and the noise level in the working environment is usually high.
