Job Purpose and Impact

To support the development of its activity, Provimi France is strengthening its team by recruiting a Swine Technology Application Specialist . The position is based in Crevin (35) in a pleasant and friendly working environment. You can work from home, up to a maximum of 2 days per week.

As part of the existing team, you will contribute to our continued success.

Key Accountabilities

After your onboarding and a period of discovery of our organization, your missions will consist of:

  • Provide technical support to our manufacturer or integrator customers in France and abroad: animation of technical meetings, farm visits, for the swine specie.
  • Participate in our innovation activites in order to develop new nutritional solutions. You will be involved in international scientific monitoring, project management, participation in international Cargill technical meetings. You will participate in the scientific and technological developments carried out by our team.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutritional programs at our customers' sites.
  • Participate in the follow-up of zootechnical trials in our network of local research farms.

The role involve many trips in France, in and outside Europe.

Qualifications

  • With an Agri/Agri Engineer, Veterinarian, Master's or PhD. background, you have a minimum of 5-8 years' experience in nutrition, genetics, research, livestock consulting, etc with swine species. You have working knowledge and experience in swine production.
  • Dynamism, curiosity, rigor, responsiveness are qualities that allow you to carry out projects successfully. Passionate about the field of animal nutrition, your human qualities and expertise will help you succeed in this challenge.
  • Fluency in French and English is essential, Spanish would be a plus.
