Are you a qualified lifeguard and swimming professional ready to step into a leadership role?
We're looking for a Deputy Manager - Swimming Provision to help lead our specialist swimming programme, supporting young people and adults with disabilities to achieve confidence, independence and success in the water.
Working closely with the Swimming Provision Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of our pool facilities, supervise swimming tutors and lifeguards, deliver engaging swimming and water safety sessions, and ensure the highest standards of health, safety and customer care.
This is a hands-on supervisory role where no two days are the same. You'll coach, mentor and develop staff, support operational management of the pool, deliver lifeguard training, and step up to lead the department when required.
What you'll bring:
Current NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification
Swimming teaching qualification (Level 1 minimum, working towards Level 2)
Strong knowledge of RLSS regulations and pool operations
Experience working with young people and adults with disabilities or additional needs
Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
A proactive, adaptable approach and commitment to safety
