Love the water? Passionate about helping others grow confidence in the pool? The YMCA is looking for energetic, caring Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics Team! This is more than a part-time job—it’s a chance to make a real impact while doing something you love.
💧 No Experience? No Problem!
We’ll train you! Get paid to learn the YUSA swim curriculum, shadow experienced instructors, and earn certifications with full support along the way.
💼 What You’ll Do:
As a Swim Instructor, you’ll:
- 🐠 Teach swim techniques to children and adults of all skill levels
- 🌊 Lead group and individual lessons using the YUSA swim progression
- 🛟 Promote water safety and help swimmers build lifelong confidence
- 👶 Work with all ages—from babies in Parent/Child classes to adult learners
- ✅ Assess skills and provide encouraging, personalized feedback

Qualifications✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 16+ years old
- Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen are a plus – or we’ll help you get them!
- A positive attitude, love for the water, and passion for making a difference
