Job Responsibilities

1. SWIFT Handling

  • Manage SWIFT messages, including routing and creation, for various departments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Promptly and accurately handle unclaimed SWIFT messages to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Perform MT191 annotations and charges creation in line with operational guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and precise processing of all SWIFT transactions to minimize exceptions and delays.
  • Perform accurate and timely reconciliation and reporting to ensure all jobs are fully accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.

2. Data Maintenance

  • Maintain and update system parameters and pricing structures related to Payment operations.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within operational systems.
  • Coordinate with IT and relevant teams for system updates and parameter changes.

2.Compliance & Exception Handling:

  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to Payment operations.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve exceptions and discrepancies in SWIFT messages.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of exceptions.

3.SLA Management:

  • Monitor and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for SWIFT message processing and data maintenance.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to meet or exceed SLA targets.

4.Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

  • Act as a point of contact for internal departments and IT regarding SWIFT & Maintenance-related queries and issues.
  • Provide timely resolution to operational issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and communication.

5.System Monitoring & Escalation:

  • Escalate critical issues to higher management and IT support teams promptly.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of system-related problems.

6.Process Improvement & UAT Involvement

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Participate in UAT for system implementations or upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and system enhancements.

7.Audit Coordination:

  • Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits
  • Address audit findings and implement recommendations in a timely manner.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking & finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payment processing, remittance operations, or financial services.
  • Possess knowledge of payment systems, SWIFT & Remittance workflows, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience managing SLAs and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in payment processing software and MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
