We are looking for a Senior User Interface Developer to join our team.

You will play a key role in shaping a modern, high-performance web-based UI within a regulated medical environment, working closely with UX designers, architects, and cross-functional development teams to deliver end-to-end clinical workflows.

Your role:

  • You will play a key role in designing and developing modern, web-based user interfaces for Philips Patient Monitoring solutions, directly contributing to clinical workflows that support critical patient care.

  • As part of a highly collaborative R&D organization, you will work closely with UX designers, software architects, system engineers, test engineers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end user experiences. You will transform user needs and design concepts into scalable, reliable, and high-performing software solutions.

  • This role offers outstanding opportunities to expand your expertise in healthcare technology, modern frontend architectures, embedded systems, and clinical user experience design while contributing to solutions that improve patient outcomes globally.

  • From flexible working arrangements and professional development opportunities to health and well-being programs, a career at Philips comes with a wide range of benefits. Be sure to speak to your recruiter about the benefits available in your region.

You're the right fit if:

Experience: You have several years of experience developing modern web-based user interfaces, ideally within medical devices, healthcare technology, embedded systems, or other regulated industries.

Technical Expertise: You bring strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Web Components, and the Lit Framework. You are familiar with REST APIs, WebSockets, and understand the challenges of browser-based UI performance, including rendering, DOM optimization, and resource-constrained environments.

Software Engineering: You have a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development. You are experienced in test automation, code quality practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/DevOps ways of working.

Collaboration & Mindset: You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and partnering closely with UX designers, architects, and engineers to deliver end-to-end user experiences. You have strong communication skills, a quality-focused mindset, and thrive in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.

Education: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is € 93,050.83 –€ 124,067.77. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

This role is eligible for Short Term Incentive, with your rewards linked to individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
