Position Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Vice President of
Strategic Partnerships to lead client engagement and drive growth across our key
accounts. This role requires a deep understanding of the media and sales landscape,
along with exceptional leadership and relationship management skills.
The SVP will manage critical client relationships, oversee strategic partnerships, and
ensure the successful execution of client retention, renewals, and upselling strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving client satisfaction,
identifying growth opportunities, and delivering high-value solutions.
Duties And Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement & Growth Management
• Lead Client Engagements: Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring effective
communication and seamless execution of projects.
• Strategic Oversight: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s
business, industry, and goals to align our services with their strategic needs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality service delivery and proactively address
potential challenges.
2. Retention, Renewals, and Upselling
• Retention Strategies: Build and implement strategies to maintain client
satisfaction and loyalty.
• Upselling Initiatives: Identify opportunities to expand client portfolios through
additional services and cross-functional solutions.
• Renewal Programs: Craft compelling renewal proposals that showcase value and
foster long-term partnerships.
3. Relationship Building & Collaboration
• Establish Strong Relationships: Build trust and rapport across client
organizations, from key decision-makers to operational stakeholders.
Collaborate with Partner Agencies: Coordinate efforts with media, creative, and
technology partners to ensure alignment with client goals.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Client Satisfaction Monitoring: Conduct formal feedback sessions and reviews to
assess engagement success.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Provide performance insights and ROI analysis to clients,
demonstrating the impact of our solutions.
5. Partnership Development
• Identify New Media Partnerships: Research and engage with emerging media
platforms, technologies, and trends to meet evolving client needs.
• Strategic Alignment: Tailor partnerships to client goals and integrate them into
broader media strategies.
• Long-term Partnership Growth: Foster relationships with media partners to drive
continuous innovation and success.
6. Thought Leadership & Advocacy
• Client Advocacy: Act as the client’s voice within the organization, ensuring their
goals are prioritized.
• Thought Leadership: Provide strategic insights and innovative solutions to help
clients address complex challenges.
7. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
• Action Plan Oversight: Lead QBRs to evaluate performance, set future goals,
and ensure alignment with client and company objectives.
• Promote Value Proposition: Deliver in-person presentations and client report
cards, highlighting our contributions to their success.
Knowledge & Skills
• Media & Sales Expertise: 10+ years of experience in media, sales, or related
industries with a focus on strategic client management.
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams,
drive client growth, and oversee complex client portfolios.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with top-tier clients across various industries.
• Proven success in managing multimillion-dollar revenue portfolios.
• Familiarity with digital and traditional media platforms, including programmatic, audio,
and OOH.
