Business Description:
The Physical Security Team at Blackstone protects the firm’s people, offices, and operations globally. This includes managing, assessing and mitigating risk, guard services, securing events, travel security, overseeing access control operations, and responding to physical security incidents. We are seeking a full-time APAC Regional Security Director based in our Bangalore office to lead physical security and crisis management operations across the region.
Job Title: SVP, Regional Security
The BX-Bangalore Regional Security Director is a senior leader responsible for driving the strategy and execution of physical security operations with a primary focus on ensuring the safety and security of employees, offices, and assets. Reporting directly to the Global leadership, this role provides strategic oversight of regional security programs while addressing unique regional challenges. Key responsibilities include safeguarding employee well-being, mitigating risks, overseeing site security operations, managing travel security, developing and ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and local regulations. The role also requires strong leadership, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to benchmark security practices against industry peers to deliver a secure and resilient environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
The Regional Security Director will lead physical security efforts across the region, ensuring the safety and security of offices, personnel, and assets. They will oversee security operations, manage vendor relationships, establish budgets, and ensure alignment with best practices and industry benchmarks. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in physical security management, risk assessment, and program implementation, with strong leadership and communication skills.
