The Wintrust human resources department is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Talent Organizational Effectiveness to lead enterprise Talent Acquisition, Talent Experience, and Talent Development functions. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, people-centered leader to shape the future of talent across a growing, relationship-driven organization.

In this highly critical leadership role, you will partner directly with executive leadership to strengthen leadership pipelines, elevate organizational capability, and ensure we continue attracting and developing exceptional talent to support our long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Talent Strategy

Shape and execute a forward-looking talent strategy that aligns with business priorities and supports our continued growth. Working closely with leadership, define the future workforce, strengthen succession pipelines, and drive initiatives that enhance engagement, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition

Lead enterprise recruiting strategy and execution to ensure the organization attracts, engages, and hires top talent across all business lines and leadership levels. Drive modernization of recruiting operations, employer branding, sourcing strategy, workforce planning integration, and internal mobility to support business growth and talent competitiveness.

Talent Development & Experience

Lead the strategy and execution of leadership development, learning and development, succession planning, performance enablement, onboarding, and career development programs. This role will play a critical part in building leadership capability and preparing the organization for the future.

Leadership & Org Effectiveness

Influence organizational effectiveness, leadership excellence, and culture as a trusted advisor to leaders. Use data, insight, and strong business partnership skills to help drive talent decisions and organizational outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader who brings:

  • Significant experience across Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or broader Human Resources leadership
  • A proven ability to build and scale enterprise talent strategies
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
  • Experience leading high-performing teams through growth and transformation
  • A passion for developing people, strengthening culture, and building future-ready organizations
  • The ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Talent or Human Resources
  • Experience within financial services, professional services, or other complex, regulated industries preferred

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $169,000 - $228,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
