Lead the Regulatory Reporting team within HCIB Reporting Operations, ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of all external regulatory reporting. The role is central to managing complex PRA (prudential regulation authority ) regulatory reporting processes, maintaining robust controls, and supporting senior finance leadership in HSBC Bank plc (HCIB).

This is a senior leadership position responsible for the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of HCIB’s regulatory reporting, requiring technical expertise, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:

• Oversee the collection, consolidation, and production of PRA regulatory reporting outputs including Risk weighted assets by risk types, capital and leverage ratios for HCIB, ensuring full compliance with PRA rules and reporting standards.
• Manage the review and governance of disclosures for all HCIB PRA regulatory returns like COREP, Pillar3, Pillar2 returns including Disclosure committee, Audit committee and Board papers where relevant for external publication.
• Interpret new regulatory reporting requirements in consultation with regulatory policy and Group regulatory reporting teams and design robust controlled processes to produce disclosures.
• Provide expert guidance to finance teams and partner with stakeholders across the business in regulatory reporting matters.
• Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring adherence to internal policies, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Lead, develop, and support a team of qualified professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

To be successful you will:

• Strong technical knowledge and demonstrable experience of RWA( Risk Weighted Assets ), capital and leverage reporting under PRA framework.
• Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, ideally within financial services.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in evaluating and enhancing end-to-end processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while maintaining strong controls and compliance.
