SVP Head of Life Sciences

Our client is seeking a strategic leader to oversee our Life Sciences division. This role will drive growth and innovation, focusing on leveraging AI and digital transformation to provide next-generation solutions for life sciences companies. The SVP - Head of Life Sciences will lead business development, client relationships, and the implementation of advanced digital and AI technologies to deliver industry-leading solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Drive the strategy to expand our client's footprint in the Life Sciences sector, focusing on AI-powered solutions for pharma, biotech, medtech, and diagnostics.

Sales & Business Development

• Own sales growth and meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Build and expand executive relationships with decision-makers at top life sciences organizations.
• Lead complex negotiations and secure high-value deals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts to grow a strong pipeline.

Solutioning & Innovation

• Develop and implement AI-driven, tailored solutions to address industry-specific challenges, focusing on driving innovation within life sciences
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance and refine service offerings, ensuring alignment with client needs.

AI & Digital Transformation

• Lead the integration of AI, machine learning, and digital tools to improve operational efficiencies, enhance patient outcomes, and automation to accelerate R&D cycles, support real-world evidence generation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Leverage digital platforms to modernize product development and commercial models.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure our client's AI-driven solutions meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Team Development & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experts in AI, data analytics, and digital transformation, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration to address complex challenges faced by life science organizations.

Market Insights

• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and maintain our client's competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving Life Sciences landscape.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• At least 15 years in the Life Sciences sector, with a proven track record of leadership in AI-driven innovation, strategic planning, and digital transformation.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree in technology or innovation is a plus.

Skills:

• Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and digital transformation within life sciences.
• Strong knowledge across clinical development, regulatory, safety, and commercialization.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to create AI-powered solutions that generate business value.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technology concepts into actionable business strategies.
