(S)VP of BD is responsible for driving business development activities including strategic partnerships, licensing, M&A, and R&D and/or commercial collaborations. The (S)VP sets strategy in conjunction with Senior Leadership and operates independently on day-to-day execution and management of external relationships. The (S)VP leads deal strategy from identification through execution, working closely with research, clinical, manufacturing, legal and finance teams on deal execution and alliance management. The (S)VP has the latitude to negotiate routine contracts and partners with CFO and legal counsel on key provisions, complex deal structures, strategic partnerships, and M&A.

The annual base salary range for this VP/SVP position is $275,000 - $400,000.
