As GKN’s Engineering Hub, we support the business with all Aerospace Engineering tasks needed. We servethe complete Aircraft Design & Development Life Cycle from Proposal to Certification, from Productionassistance to In-Flight Support.

Sustaining Engineer works on the basis of instructions given by the supervisor and may in case of questions and / or problems rely on functional specialists within the organization. Officer analyzes problems within processes and products, also at customers occurred damage, determines whether or not in consultation with affected parties the solution and ensures documentation in dispositions and / or concessions in accordance with applicable internal and external procedures. Minimizes process disruption caused by products and / or processes that will fall out of specification by an appropriate (resources, time and money) airworthy engineering solution. Officer is authorized, based on a specific project scope and explicitly granted (MRB)authority, for approval or rejection of products.
Nice to have: Prior knowledge of landing gear systems.
Responsible for:
Providing airworthy solutions for different non compliant products and / or processes or where that is not possible to reject these in consultation with the relevant discipline according to the internal or external requirements document and record their own activities (concessions and dispositions, opinions, etc.)
Realization of assigned tasks within set limits of time, money and resources.
