A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Last Time Buyer at MKS, you will partner with Category management, Engineering, Product Marketing to take a longer-term view and purchases are generally in the 2/10-year horizon based on Engineering and Marketing inputs. In this role, you will report to the Electronics Procurement Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
• Searching & Quoting with Brokers / Authorized Distributors / Manufacturers
• Developing Quote Comparisons & Analysis
• Holding Bi-weekly / Monthly / Ad Hoc meetings with BU & component engineers to discuss resolution to EOL and obsolete parts.
• Attending weekly meetings with LTB team to review EOL current needs and prepare for BU meetings.
• Preparing LTB Buy Forms for BU approvals and for Purchasing Smartsheet UPPV approvals
• Submitting Purchasing UPPV approvals via SmartSheet
• Placing Purchase Orders and Changing/Updating POs as needed
• Travel Requirements: Up to 20% of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of related experience
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of Oracle & SAP
• Advanced Excel skills needed
• Agile, SmartSheet, and PowerBI.
