What you'll do

As a Sustainable Finance Advisory Analyst, you'll help identify, manage and escalate risks while supporting the delivery of sustainable finance solutions for corporate clients across Western Europe. Working closely with colleagues across the bank’s Coverage, Debt Capital Markets and Sustainability teams, you'll support client engagement, transaction execution and business development activities.

In addition, you'll be:

  • Supporting the execution of sustainable finance transactions, including sustainability-linked, green, social, sustainable and transition finance solutions
  • Preparing client presentations, market updates, benchmarking analyses and thought leadership materials
  • Conducting ESG, sustainable finance and industry research, including analysis of ESG ratings and sustainability disclosures
  • Supporting advisory projects focused on ESG ratings management, sustainability regulation, reporting requirements and transition planning
  • Monitoring market, regulatory and ESG developments to support clients and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinating transaction approvals, execution processes and cross-functional stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting pipeline management and broader business development initiatives

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, a genuine interest in sustainable finance, and the ability to translate complex information into clear insights.

In addition, you'll need:

  • Experience in, or a strong interest in, sustainable finance and ESG.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets and sustainable finance products
  • An understanding of ESG ratings and regulatory developments
  • Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative approach, strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • A university degree with a strong academic record
  • Fluency in English, with additional European language skills being advantageous
