We are currently looking for a Sustainability Reporting Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract who will lead sustainability reporting and assurance for the Group during a maternity leave period. This role ensures the organisation meets all external reporting, regulatory, and compliance obligations, including Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements, with high-quality, consistent, and audit-ready disclosures.

Operating at Group level, this role works closely across all Sisk companies and cross-functional teams to coordinate and manage reporting processes and support external assurance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for sustainability reporting obligations, client requests, ESG ratings and submissions, and ongoing sustainability data and systems projects. This position reports to the Group Sustainability Director and includes line management responsibility for a Sustainability Analyst.

Responsibilities

Sustainability Reporting and Compliance

  • Lead delivery of external sustainability reporting requirements including, Annual Sustainability Report, Carbon Reduction Plan, TCFD Reporting, statutory disclosures (CSRD, EU taxonomy) and associated supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all disclosures are accurate, consistent, evidence-based and aligned with regulatory and assurance expectations (including ESRS under CSRD).
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assesses impacts on current reporting activities.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment across all external sustainability disclosures, ratings and submissions (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP, Worldfavor and other ad hoc platforms).
  • Cross-functional collaboration to oversee and support the consolidation, validation and analysis of ESG metrics and KPIs across the Group.

CSRD Delivery and Implementation

  • Lead the implantation and delivery of the Group’s CSRD reporting readiness and implementation programme.
  • Work with Sustainability Director to maintain the Group’s double materiality assessment to ensure the results are appropriately documented, reviewed, and kept up to date.
  • Maintain and embed governance, controls and documentation to support audit ready sustainability reporting.
  • Act as a key contact for external advisors and auditors leading audit preparation, walkthroughs and evidence
  • Support senior leadership by consolidating findings and recommendations throughout key CSRD implementation phases.

Governance, Data and Systems

  • Manage the sustainability reporting governance structures including data ownership, accountability and internal controls.
  • Support the implementation of sustainability reporting and data consolidation systems including any integration with finance, procurement, HR, and operational systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, traceability and auditability across reporting processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Sustainability, Social Value, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, OHS, Legal, IT, and Communications teams to deliver reporting requirements.
  • Communicate reporting requirements, timelines, and quality standards across the Group.
  • Support the Group Sustainability Director on sustainability reporting strategy, planning, and resource prioritisation.

Business Support

  • Provide support and guidance to sustainability colleagues, functional teams and senior leadership on sustainability reporting, data and disclosure matters.
  • Respond to queries relating to sustainability data, reporting requirements, and methodologies.
  • Support client and business ad hoc sustainability information requests as appropriate.
  • Provides support to the overall responsibilities and goals of the Sustainability and Social Value team.

Experience

  • Experience leading corporate sustainability / ESG reporting in a complex, multi-entity organisation.
  • Proven track record of delivering or preparing for CSRD (or equivalent ESG regulatory) implementation, including ESRS alignment and double materiality assessments.
  • Experience working with external auditors and assurance providers, including preparation of audit-ready disclosures, evidence files, and management of audit processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sustainability data management, including development of governance frameworks, controls, and KPI methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional reporting processes and engaging senior stakeholders, including Board-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with ESG/Sustainability reporting platforms and tools and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Experience with carbon accounting, including Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions, and broader climate-related disclosures (e.g. TCFD).
  • Strong programme and project management capability

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certification desirable (e.g. ACCA/ACA, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, ESG Certification or equivalent).
  • Strong technical understanding of key frameworks and standards, including:
    • CSRD / ESRS
    • EU Taxonomy
    • TCFD / IFRS (ISSB) standards
    • Familiarity with GHG Protocol and leading ESG rating frameworks (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis)
