What You’ll Be Contributing:
- Create, maintain, and distribute the annual sustainability report, and support the organization in meeting applicable sustainability guidelines and compliance obligations;
- Develop and maintain policies related to the company’s ethical, sustainability, and environmental responsibilities;
- Support certifications, initiatives, and projects related to social responsibility and sustainability;
- Gather and coordinate the appropriate resources required for sustainability-related projects, including equipment, tools, materials, documentation, people, and other required resources;
- Create and coordinate required training and awareness initiatives to strengthen organizational awareness and engagement in sustainability and social responsibility;
- Participate in internal meetings and monitor relevant developments and requirements from external organizations to support the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives;
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits or verification processes relevant to sustainability;
- Review and analyze environmental and energy management performance, as well as social responsibility performance, and recommend improvement opportunities;
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams to communicate the company’s sustainability initiatives and commitments;
- Liaise with business unit sustainability and quality teams, Corporate Compliance, external auditors, verification authorities, and other relevant stakeholders on sustainability-related matters;
- Collect, maintain, and analyze sustainability-related data and documentation required for reporting, audits, certifications, and compliance activities;
What Sets You Apart:
- Undergraduate university degree, or equivalent, in sustainability, energy management, environmental management, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar or related role;
- Working knowledge of standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to sustainability matters, including carbon neutrality and corporate social responsibility (CSR);
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collect, review, and analyze sustainability-related data;
- Strong communication skills in French and English, both oral and written in order to support in international certifications;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience preparing reports and related documentation;
- Recognized for rigour, autonomy, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established processes and requirements.
