We are representing a well-established organization in the property industry seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead and drive the company’s sustainability agenda, ESG initiatives, and non-financial reporting efforts.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong sustainability reporting experience, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to work cross-functionally to implement impactful sustainability programs and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Develop and execute the organization’s sustainability and ESG framework aligned with business objectives
• 
  Drive sustainability initiatives across operations, products, processes, and community engagement programs
• 
  Develop methodologies and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and impact of sustainability initiatives
• 
  Lead the preparation of the company’s annual Sustainability Report and other sustainability-related publications
• 
  Ensure reporting compliance with relevant sustainability frameworks and regulatory requirements, including GRI Standards
• 
  Support and coordinate submissions for sustainability-related awards and recognitions
• 
  Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather data and information for sustainability reporting, campaigns, and corporate initiatives
• 
  Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, suppliers, and vendors for sustainability-related projects
• 
  Promote sustainability awareness and communication strategies across various departments
• 
  Monitor industry trends, ESG developments, and regulatory updates to ensure organizational compliance and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business, or related disciplines
• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in Sustainability Reporting / ESG-related functions
• 
  Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GRI Reporting Standards
• 
  Exposure to FTSE4Good framework will be an added advantage
• 
  Experience within the Property Development industry is preferred
• 
  Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
• 
  Independent, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• 
  Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
• 
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• 
  Mandarin proficiency will be an added advantage
