Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Sustainability Intern to support our team in preparing our annual Sustainability Report and related ESG disclosures. This role involves data gathering, analysis, coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders, and learning about various sustainability frameworks and standards.

1. Reporting Support

• Assist in the preparation of the company’s Sustainability Report and ESG disclosures.

• Gather and organize sustainability-related data from various departments.

• Help ensure data accuracy and consistency for reporting purposes.

2. Data Analysis

• Assist in analyzing ESG-related data to identify trends, gaps, and insights.

• Support in tracking key sustainability performance indicators (KPIs).

3. Research

• Conduct desktop research on sustainability frameworks, emerging standards, and industry best practices.

• Stay updated on ESG reporting requirements (e.g., GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, SRG3, Bursa MMLR).

4. Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate with internal teams to collect data and updates for the report.

• Support communication with external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in the reporting process.

5. Documentation & Filing

• Help organize and maintain documentation for ESG metrics and initiatives.

• Ensure proper version control and filing of supporting materials for audit purposes.

6. Ad-Hoc Support

• Assist in the development of sustainability-related policies and internal guidelines.

• Support the creation of training materials and content for employee awareness programs.

• Contribute to sustainability communication and engagement efforts for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG reporting, and corporate responsibility.
  • Basic understanding of sustainability frameworks (bonus if familiar with GRI, IFRS S1/S2, SRG3, MMLR).
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication skills and comfortable engaging with different stakeholders.
  • Willing to learn, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
