
Job Title: Sustainability & Compliance Executive (Vietnam)
Job Location: Ho Chi Minh Office
Reports to: ESG & Compliance Representative
The Sustainability and Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring adherence to international sustainability standards and certification requirements across the solid biomass supply chain. This role manages compliance documentation, supports supplier oversight, coordinates audit preparation, and delivers sustainability reporting to clients and strategic partners.
1. Document & Records Management
• Build and maintain a structured document management system for all sustainability and compliance records.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely updates of certification-related documentation.
• Manage controlled documents in line with audit and certification body requirements.
2. Supplier Compliance Monitoring
• Monitor and follow up on supplier compliance with sustainability regulations and certification standards (SBP, GGL, FSC, PEFC, etc.).
• Conduct regular supplier assessments and maintain compliance trackers.
• Manage the Due Diligence System (DDS) and ensure robust product traceability across the supply chain.
• On-site supplier factory audit
3. Audit Preparation & Support
• Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for scheduled and unannounced audits by certification bodies (CBs) or customers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Track and close non-conformances identified during audits.
• Well verse in GHG Calculation under SBP and GGL certification
4. Client & Partner Reporting
• Compile and deliver sustainability and compliance reports tailored to individual client requirements.
• Support preparation of customer due diligence questionnaires and sustainability disclosures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, International Trade, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of of experience in a solid biomass supply chain or renewable energy environment
• Solid understanding of Incoterm, import/export documentation, customs procedures, and product traceability.
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain governance and sustainability certification frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with biomass certification schemes: SBP (Sustainable Biomass Program), GGL, FSC, and/or PEFC.
• Prior direct engagement with Certification Bodies (CBs) and participation in customer-led audits.
• Strong knowledge of Due Diligence Systems (DDS) and supply chain accountability frameworks.
• Experience working with international clients and partners in the renewable energy sector.
