Mō te Tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join our Sustainability Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about how business can create positive environmental and social impact, and who enjoys working across a broad range of programmes, reporting and initiatives.
You’ll support delivery of sustainability programmes across climate, nature and human rights, contribute to sustainability reporting and disclosures, support key partnerships, and help uplift sustainability capability across the business. You’ll also play an important role in supporting team operations and continuous improvement.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive and knowledgeable team, where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career as a sustainability professional while making a meaningful impact.
In this role, you will:
Support delivery of sustainability programmes and initiatives across climate, nature and human rights
Contribute to sustainability reporting and disclosures, including data collection, drafting and coordination
Support governance forums, internal reporting and sustainability‑related risk activities
Assist with management of key sustainability partnerships and external memberships
Contribute to internal engagement, training and capability uplift across the business
Monitor external sustainability trends and best practice to inform initiatives and strategy
Provide operational and administrative support across the team (such as inbox management, invoicing and volunteering programmes)

Relevant tertiary qualification
Experience working in sustainability, ideally with exposure to climate change or human rights
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience in financial services, large organisations, or sustainability reporting is an advantage
