Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Survey Technician to support field and office survey operations. This individual will play a key role in processing data, assisting with stakeouts, and supporting drafting and mapping efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, familiar with CAD tools, and eager to grow in the surveying profession.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys
• Download and process field data for use in survey mapping
• Convert raw data files and maintain organized project records
• Support stakeout calculations and QA/QC of field deliverables
• Draft survey plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (or equivalent software)
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in land surveying or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD platforms
• Strong understanding of survey data collection and reduction
• CST certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay:

• Competitive salary ($55k–$65k, based on experience)
