What’s on offer?

We’re looking for an experienced Survey Manager to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in New South Wales for our Eastern Region Construction (ERC) business. This is a key role where you’ll lead survey activities across the project, ensuring accuracy, quality and alignment with delivery requirements.

Working closely with the Project Director and delivery teams, you’ll provide clear direction and technical oversight across all survey functions. You’ll play a critical role in supporting planning, guiding teams on site and ensuring works are delivered to the required standard.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and coordinate all survey activities across the project
  • Provide technical direction and support to survey teams and site engineers
  • Ensure compliance with TfNSW specifications (G71, G73, G76, G78), managing survey control, setout, and work-as-executed deliverables, and integrating survey data into construction and digital engineering workflows
  • Ensure survey deliverables meet project requirements for accuracy, quality and timing
  • Work closely with delivery teams to support planning and execution of works
  • Monitor performance, resolve issues early and maintain strong quality assurance processes
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and stakeholders

How you’ll connect to the role?

We’re looking for a Survey Manager who brings strong experience within civil construction or infrastructure projects and understands the role survey plays in successful project delivery. You’re confident managing survey teams, coordinating across multiple work fronts and ensuring quality outcomes in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in supporting project delivery, quality assurance, and asset handover. Experience using 12d Model and 12d Synergy is desirable for this role.

You take a practical, solutions-focused approach and are comfortable providing technical guidance, making decisions and supporting teams on site. You’re organised, proactive and bring a strong attention to detail, while still keeping the bigger picture in mind.

You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors and project teams. You take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a high-performing team that supports each other and looks for better ways of doing things. If you bring the right experience, mindset and a genuine commitment to quality delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a great opportunity to step into a role where you can influence outcomes, support delivery teams and continue to grow your career as part of a supportive and high-performing environment.

Join a team where precision matters, your expertise adds real value, and your work shapes the outcome.

Our people share the same set of values that keep us REAL. Respect, Energy and Effort, Attitude and Leadership encapsulate what we stand for at Fulton Hogan and encourage us to foster a diverse and inclusive culture where we listen to, care for, celebrate, and respect everyone.

We are committed to reconciliation and building and nurturing respectful relationships with First Nations peoples. Through our First Nations Engagement Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we aim to promote opportunities, cultural understanding and partnerships that celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of Indigenous communities.

If our values resonate with you, please submit an application for the position. If you’re not sure that you meet 100% of the selection criteria, that’s okay, we would still like to hear from you and potentially discuss how your skills could be utilised at Fulton Hogan.
