Job Description

Overview:

Guidepoint's Market Research Team is Survey Fieldwork Specialist to help scope feasibility, conduct outreach and recruit respondents for online quantitative global market research studies. This position would be expected to work hours aligned with US-based colleagues on the East Coast. This project is an individual contributor role and will not include people management responsibilities.

This can be a hybrid position out of one of our offices in India (Mumbai, Pune) or remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Send outreach to survey respondents to invite them to complete custom surveys for Guidepoint’s market research team
  • Schedule and tailor initial outreach and reminders to help maximize response rates, refining language and timing to ensure respondents across the globe/within different industries are appropriately connected with relevant research opportunities
  • Search for and design outreach lists on a project-by-project basis, collecting specifications from project managers and analysts and ensuring high-quality, relevant individuals that would pass screening criteria are included in project outreach
  • Coordinate with custom recruitment partners, both internally and externally, to collect additional sample for projects as needed
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for projects fielding more slowly than expected
  • Monitor and respond to internal and client requests for custom quantitative survey projects, collecting necessary requirements and inputs to provide timely and accurate pricing and feasibility to conduct online survey research
  • Search databases of current respondents and past projects, along with coordinating with internal and external custom recruitment partners, to assess Guidepoint’s reach for specific audiences of interest and necessary price points to meet Guidepoint and client needs
  • Ask questions, coordinate with research analysts and team leads, and use expertise from past projects to help recommend audience designs that will best drive successful research outcomes and meet client needs
  • Share pricing proposals for recruitment, either directly with prospective clients, or with internal teams to bundle as part of larger engagements
  • As-needed, set up redirects in Qualtrics and coordinate directly with end-clients and third-party survey hosting vendors to ensure respondents can enter and complete surveys hosted on third-party platforms, and that those projects meet Guidepoint’s compliance and legal standards for respondents
  • Communicate directly and indirectly with project managers (and end-clients, as needed) on project status updates and questions, through instant messaging, video calls, and updates in project management platforms
  • Other duties as required

What You Have:

  • 2+ years experience coordinating and scheduling outreach (via email) to potential respondents for market research studies, and monitoring and troubleshooting progress on surveys in-field
  • Comfort drafting localized English-language marketing and outreach language to potential survey respondents to maximize response rates, tailoring outreach language and timing to respondents' job and demographic profile
  • Comfort and experience with designing and scoping quantitative B2B research projects (experience with quantitative research among medical/biopharma professionals in particular preferred)
  • Experience navigating searchable databases to test feasibility for recruitment and build participant email lists based on requested targeting criteria
  • Comfort with Qualtrics, Forsta, or other common survey distribution tools

What we Offer:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Employee medical coverage
  • Central office location
  • Entrepreneurial environment, autonomy, and fast decisions
  • Casual work environment
