BFJ Planning is a consulting firm providing professional expertise in planning, urban design, environmental analysis, real estate, and transportation since its establishment in 1980.

BFJ provides the following services for public, private, and non-profit clients throughout the country and overseas:

This range of services enables BFJ to bring a project from the initial feasibility stage, through planning and approvals, to site design and implementation.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Survey Data Entry Coordinator to support the accurate entry, maintenance, and management of survey and questionnaire data.

This role is responsible for ensuring information is entered correctly, reviewing data for accuracy, and supporting reporting needs.

The ideal candidate is highly attentive to detail, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter survey responses and related data into designated databases and systems with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review submitted survey information for completeness and consistency.
• Identify, correct, and escalate data discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
• Track survey submissions and maintain organized electronic records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
• Perform routine quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity.
• Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

BFJ Planning is seeking a graduate student to provide part-time assistance with survey data entry during the fall semester, with the possibility of continuing into the spring.

The ideal candidate will be available approximately 12–16 hours per week, on either a set or flexible schedule. Additional hours may be available during periods when school is not in session.

All work will be performed in person at BFJ Planning’s office: 115 Fifth Avenue, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10003

Compensation is $25.00 per hour, and the position is available to begin immediately.
