Charleston County is seeking a skilled and dependable Survey Crew Supervisor (Survey Crew Chief) to supervise field surveying operations within our Public Works Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading a team, and ensuring that high-quality surveying work supports county infrastructure and construction projects.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $54,308 to $61,172 (Estimated Annual Salary)
As the Survey Crew Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily field survey activities, guide and train crew members, and ensure all collected data meets professional, state, and industry standards. You will play a critical role in supporting public works designs, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, and construction layout by operating specialized survey instruments, data collectors, and GPS equipment.
