Survey CAD Technician

We're looking for a Survey CAD Technician who enjoys seeing residential projects come together from the ground up. In this role, you'll transform field survey data and architectural plans into accurate, permit-ready site plans that help bring new homes to life.

What You'll Be Doing
* Prepare residential site plans, plot plans, and foundation layout drawings for single-family homes.
* Overlay architectural footprints onto boundary surveys while verifying zoning setbacks, easements, and building restrictions.
* Process survey field data to generate contours, surfaces, and topographic information.
* Assist with grading, drainage, driveway layouts, utility connections, and other site improvements.
* Produce accurate plans for permitting, municipal review, and HOA submissions.
* Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, architects, and project teams to keep projects moving efficiently.
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician or Survey Drafter.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (Carlson experience is also welcomed).
* Experience preparing residential site plans, plot plans, or lot fit drawings.
* Ability to interpret boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and architectural plans.
* Familiarity with zoning setbacks, easements, and residential development standards.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy.
