Conduct surveillance activities and support more complex inspections across road and construction projects. Working with nominated contractors, you will help ensure works are delivered safely, on time, to the required quality standards, and within project scope requirements in the Far West Precinct.

You are experienced in civil construction and maintenance, with a strong understanding of industry practices, standards, policies, codes, and compliance requirements.
You are confident interpreting project, construction, and contract documentation, with a solid understanding of contract requirements and the ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation in a construction or maintenance environment.
You’re a strong communicator with proven relationship-building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with contractors, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve positive outcomes.
You are highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced contractor surveillance, asset maintenance, construction, or infrastructure environments.
You’re confident using digital systems and mobile technology, including iPads, electronic reporting tools, and other computer-based applications to support project delivery and reporting.
You hold a current unrestricted NSW Motor Vehicle driver’s licence.
You may be required to work outside of normal working hours on occasion, and you may be required to travel throughout the region and work at locations away from home on occasion.
Any qualifications in Environment, Safety and/or quality management will be highly regarded.
