The job involves:

  • Monitoring gaming floors, table games, soft count rooms, cages, slots, bars, restaurants and back-of-house areas at both properties
  • Detecting and monitoring all suspicious activities that may adversely affect gaming, our patrons and associates
  • Identifying potential gaming floor conflicts and notifying security and external law enforcement agencies
  • Ensuring departments are following standard operating procedures and applicable policies
  • Recording accurate and detailed information on reports and conducting thorough investigations using the digital video system
  • Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

  • College diploma or University degree with a concentration in Criminology or Law
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a casino environment
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking and decision making skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced highly regulated environment
  • Proficient computer skills with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
