Sequist Animal Hospital is actively looking for a Surgical Veterinary Technician to join our great team. This candidate has to be confident in the surgery room, helping from start to finish. Surgical Prep, surgical monitoring, can scrub in if needed, surgical recovery. (spays, neuters, lumpectomy, some orthopedics, dental) The ideal candidate must also be fluent in rooming patients, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, able to dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and Sequist Animal Hospital encourages and supports its staff to do the same. ** The clinic is open Monday-Saturday (candidate will have to work a rotating Saturday shift)

Pay range: $22.00-$25.00 based on experience

Sign-on Bonus Eligibility for a sign on bonus of up to $1,000 based on surgical and anesthesia experiences.

  • Experienced Veterinary Technician with surgical experience
