
The Surgical Technician at Door County Medical Center is a vital member of the surgical team, responsible for ensuring a sterile, safe, and efficient operating environment. The role encompasses a wide range of duties including core responsibilities of aseptic technique and sterile field management, surgical procedures support, second assist role, sterile processing, central supply duties and environmental safety and disinfection. This role will work closely with surgeons, circulating nurses and other team members to implement and revise care plans. The Surgical Technician must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Education Required Graduate of an approved Surgical Technician Program.
Credential/Licensure Required CPR required (within 6 months).
Shift: Working 32 - 40 hours a week ( amount of hours can be flexible). Monday - Friday with rotating call every 6th weekend.
