Surgical Technical Instructor - FT

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Surgical Technology ProgramThis is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of EducationThe primary responsibility will be to teach Surgical Technology coursesThe typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program resulting in an associate degree; a bachelor degree in a related field is required

• Certification:
  • CST - required
  • TS-C - optional

• At least three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven

• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
