
Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Functions in collaboration with other OR specialty coordinators to coordinate/facilitate education, communication, quality/performance improvement, and department survey readiness (TJC and CMS).

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience RequiredEducation:Current Alabama RN license or a current RN multi-state licenseExperience:Extensive perioperative experience. Demonstrates leadership ability. Management experience desirable. Teaching ability strongly preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities:BCLS required (must be completed within the Orientation Period). BCLS instructor preferred, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred, demonstrated ability to lead and work within a team, demonstrated ability to manage projects, excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft office applications as well as the facilities systems.
