
Reports to: Unit Coordinator, Ambulatory Surgery Unit
Director, Surgical Services
Summary: Responsible for the direct, total nursing care of acute pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric surgical patients; including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care within the policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Surgical Unit and MDI Hospital. Delegates and supervises the patient care activities of unlicensed Surgical Services Staff and Ancillary personnel.
