Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Back Office team as an Administrative Support Associate.
An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday during normal business hours of 8:00AM-4:30PM. This is an onsite position at 391 Myrtle Ave.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members
• Interact with a diverse patient population
• Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration
• Schedule appointments, new or follow up visits
• Coordinate patient referrals and prior authorization for additional diagnostic testing or procedures (as needed)

Requirements:

All candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID to be considered

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• No experience required
• Excellent customer service skills preferred
• Experience using an electronic health record, working in a medical office, and Microsoft Office a plus!
