
The Surgical Quality Coordinator’s chief responsibility is to collect and submit reliable data to the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP). This is accomplished through high-quality surgical chart review and interpretation, data compilation, data analysis, patient/family interactions including documentation and entry into the ACS NSQIP database of all eligible surgeries for the hospital. The Coordinator, is responsible for collecting and interpreting NSQIP data and working collaboratively with the Surgical Program Leadership, NSQIP physician lead, Chief and Director, Patient Experience, Quality & Patient Safety in the implementation of NSQIP Quality Initiatives.
