The Surgical Equipment Tech works under the supervision of the Manager to provide technical support of the surgical patient.
·Organizes electrical equipment, establishes the sterile field, and provides support for the surgical team.
·Knowledgeable in the practice of aseptic technique in the operating room environment.
·acts as a liaison between Materials Management, Biomedical Department, and the Operating Room.
