Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient surgical team in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Details

• Full-time or part-time inpatient APP role
• Night schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Admissions-focused role with inpatient surgical patient management responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive H&Ps and clinical assessments for new admissions
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, hospitalists, and surgical teams
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and coordinate inpatient care
• Structured onboarding and mentorship program available for new graduates
• Strong interdisciplinary and specialty support within the hospital system

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active or eligible Maine licensure
• New graduates encouraged to apply with strong inpatient clinical rotations
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
