Be Part of a Hospital with a Proud History and an Exciting Future
Since opening in 1999 as New South Wales' first multi-specialist and 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital, ARH Homebush has played an important role in the development of specialist and emergency veterinary care in Australia.
For more than 25 years, we have supported referring veterinarians and pet owners by providing advanced care across multiple specialties while building a reputation for collaboration, clinical excellence, and exceptional patient care.
Today, ARH Homebush remains one of Australia's most established referral hospitals, caring for thousands of patients each year through a multidisciplinary team of Emergency Veterinarians, Specialists, Interns, Residents, and Veterinary Nurses.
As we continue to evolve and invest in our people and services, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Surgery Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic and growing referral surgery team at ARH Homebush!
This exciting opportunity will see you working alongside experienced veterinary surgeons, anaesthesia professionals and a highly skilled nursing team, supporting a diverse and challenging surgical caseload.
From complex orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures to advanced surgical patient care, you will play an integral role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care throughout their surgical journey.
Whether you are an experienced surgical nurse looking for your next challenge or a passionate veterinary nurse eager to further develop your surgical skills, we would love to hear from you!
We envision a Full-Time role (38 hrs/wk) in our busy surgery department (10 hr shifts), however Part Time applicants will also be considered.
Training and support will be provided on an ongoing basis, with encouragement to grow surgical and anaesthesia skills with further education, which is financially supported.
The successful applicant will be well remunerated above the award rate.
ARH pays above award and prides itself on a culture of continuous improvement. Permanent nurses have a CPD allowance and access to internal CE opportunities.
If you’ve been wanting to elevate your career to the next level then please submit your application including a cover letter and CV via the link.
