Job Description

Do you have 2+ years of Navy Logisitics Information Systems experience and a Secret Clearance? AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a SPIR Coordinator to support HM&E testing in Jacksonville, FL

Responsibilities

  • Provide Administrative support services to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms.
  • Specialize in System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Coordination support for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
  • Accurately Input handwritten SPIR reports into the approved NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool
  • Continuously monitor the SPIR Tracking Tool Database
  • Provide weekly SPIR reports to the customer
  • Utilization of SPIR Tracking Sheets and Databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream by working closely with:
    • Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Modernization Coordination Office
    • TYCOMM
    • SURFMEPP Community / NAVSEA

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities.
  • 2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases.
  • Specialize in Quality Assurance
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $77,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
