Job Description

Drive growth for SurfacePrep across Greenville, Anderson, Asheville, and surrounding areas. As a Surface Finishing Specialist, you’ll develop new business, grow existing accounts, and connect customers with the products and solutions that best fit their needs.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a strong network to generate new sales opportunities/leads.
• Plan and schedule meetings with prospective and existing customers.
• Engage with clients to understand their product or service requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Present and demonstrate product features/benefits tailored to customer needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication, relationship management, and timely resolution of post-sale issues.
• Maintain ongoing contact with current and past clients, providing updates on new products, services, and enhancements.
• Track and document sales activities—including calls, orders, wins/losses, and relationship challenges—using CRM tools.
• Prepare and deliver periodic sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant outside sales experience.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing sales preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts, grow a territory, and negotiate effectively.
• Experience using CRM software to manage customer relationships, sales opportunities, and pipelines.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and recommend solutions.
• Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to independently manage a territory, prioritize opportunities, and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the territory, including prolonged periods of driving.
• Comfortable with extended periods of computer work and able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
