Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the functions of and the employees within the department dealing with the receipt, storage, preservation, and issuance of components within the facility.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Responsible for defining, implementing, and ensuring execution of procedures, written instruction, and safety guidance.

Responsible for cycle count activities to document and control accurate accountability of assets

Responsible to coordinate with Production/Completions Supervision to ensure efficient and timely kit fill of material in support of scheduled requirements

Responsible to ensure all DFJC Company Personnel Policies and Operations Directives are adhered to by warehouse employees

Responsible to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal work place safety regulations, or any applicable regulatory requirements

Responsible for supervising subordinates including authorization to hire, terminate, evaluate performance of, administer discipline to and approve leave for them.

Responsible for timely receipt and cost effective shipment of all company material.

Responsible for time kitting and issuance of material required to support completion operations.

Responsible for ensuring all DFJC company personnel policies and operational policy directives are adhered to by supervised employees.

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Four (4) years of warehouse and/or inventory control experience

Practical knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of Warehouse Operations and/or Inventory Control

Proficient in MS Office Suites

Positive and professional written and verbal communication to convey information

Must be able to hold meetings, create, and present material to groups at any level of the company

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a supervisory role leading employees

Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning, Capacity Resource Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Warehouse Management Systems

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office environment working at a desk and computer for significant portions of the day and climate controlled warehouse with some travel between hangars.

This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position because it includes as part of the essential job duties operating equipment and tools on a routine basis. Additionally, the duties of this position concern the service and completion of aircraft, and overall airworthiness of the aircraft. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of this employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while performing safety activities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position typically falls between $58,543.00 and $78,193.00 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines. This position may be eligible for a sign on bonus, shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
