Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coach a team of material planners, fostering a culture of ownership, urgency, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure material availability to support production schedules while avoiding excess inventory and minimizing obsolescence.

• Monitor planning execution and escalate supply risks or constraints with clarity and speed.

• Drive disciplined execution of planning processes, including PO management, supplier follow-up, and system accuracy.

• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to resolve issues and align on priorities.

• Analyze material trends and planning data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Support NPI and engineering changes by ensuring timely material readiness and clear communication across teams.

• Promote standardization and process adherence across planning activities and systems.

• Lead with a strategic mindset, balancing short-term problem-solving with long-term planning excellence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in materials planning or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and escalation skills.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and planning tools.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
