Lead and supervise the Product Engineering team to achieve departmental goals and business objectives.

  • Manage New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, and engineering change implementation.

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and production to resolve product-related issues.

  • Review and approve engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs, process instructions, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for product and process issues.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and cost reduction.

  • Collaborate with global engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders on product development and sustaining activities.

  • Monitor engineering KPIs and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop engineers by conducting performance reviews, training, and career development planning.

  • Support audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections as the engineering representative.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO), and product lifecycle management.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product design, and quality systems.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone).

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and PLM tools is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CAD software is preferred.

  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and global environment.
