The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This hands-on leadership role requires strong mechanical expertise, including experience with conveyor systems, along with electrical proficiency up to 480V three-phase systems. The supervisor actively troubleshoots PLCs, understands how they communicate with equipment and control systems, performs diagnostics, and completes minor programming or logic modifications as needed. They also utilize HMI systems to monitor and troubleshoot automated equipment to maintain optimal performance.

What You Will Do

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, organize, and prioritize the daily work of the maintenance team.
    • Evaluate performance, coach employees, and foster a motivated, accountable culture.
    • Ensure team has the necessary tools, materials, and resources to perform effectively.
    • Develop both technical and soft skills across the team.
    • Maintain and enforce optimal safety standards at all times.
    • Ensure coverage across shifts, weekends, and holidays to sustain uninterrupted operations.
  • Special Projects:
    • Lead improvement initiatives to increase quality, availability, efficiency, and KPIs.
    • Oversee installations, equipment upgrades, modifications, and fabrications.
    • Execute projects that enhance equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Corrective & Preventive Maintenance:
    • Support technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.
    • Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance.
    • Coordinate and verify completion of maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Drive process improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction and efficiency.
    • Coordinate and supervise contractor activities.
    • Complete administrative responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What You Will Bring

  • Education: High school diploma required. Technical certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience 5+ years in related maintenance role with mechanical and electrical (up to 480v 3 phase) experience. Experience working with conveyor systems and HMI.
  • Leadership Experience Experience leading teams with multiple direct reports.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of PLC and ability to troubleshoot. Familiarity with ANSI and Warehousing. OSHA and safety program expertise.

Compensation The expected annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
