Supervise daily activities of the laborers, janitors, and supplemental personnel to ensure that the non-radiological areas at the Nuclear Stations are a safe and clean working environment. Provide manpower support to departments at the stations when necessary such as firewatches, operation of cranes, driving forklifts, moving furniture, etc. Prioritized, assign, and train employees for daily work activities according to work procedures. Direct employees on daily work assignments throughout the station. Monitor/track the Station Drum Control Program at the Nuclear Stations by processing data into computer system. Ensure station is kept free of liquids, lubricants, or debris to provide a clean and safe working environment through daily station walkdown inspections. Monitor/track the issuing, processing, and storage of lubricants per station lubrication program. Monitor and maintain oil response training. Respond to oil spills and adverse weather conditions. Perform general supervisory duties for the employees including, completion of daily timesheets, appraising, training on proper safe habits and holding weekly safety meetings, scheduling work activities, making personnel action recommendations, and review/recommend revisions to work procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

-5 years of relevant Supervisory experience (with preferred Bachelor's degree) and knowledge of station policies and procedures.

-In lieu of preferred related Bachelor's degree, may substitute related Associate's degree and 7+ years of directly related supervisory experience or High School diploma/GED and 9+ years of directly related supervisory experience that demonstrates knowledge of relevant fundamental theories, principles and concepts.

-Knowledge of bargaining unit contract preferred.

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.
