
The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will contribute to psychiatric care of the Supportive Oncology program, including inpatient and outpatient care, providing assessments and consultations for hematology and oncology patients and their families. They will also contribute to the continued growth of the Supportive Oncology Psychiatry program. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in General Psychiatry, and 4) have residency training in Adult Psychiatry.
We especially welcome applicants with leadership experience who are also familiar with being an integral part of a multidisciplinary care team who have experience contributing to the growth and development of the Psychosocial Oncology Program.
