About RSPCA Queensland
For more than 140 years, RSPCA Queensland has been a leading animal welfare charity, dedicated to improving the lives of animals - whether domestic, farmed, or native. We care for over 42,000 animals annually, relying on the generosity of animal lovers like you to fund 91% of our life-changing services.
Our Purpose: We exist for animals to live better lives.
About the Role
Some people change the lives of animals today. Others build lasting relationships that help animals for years to come.
As our Supporter Engagement Specialist (Mid-Value), you'll help create those lasting connections by building meaningful relationships with some of RSPCA Queensland's most committed supporters.
This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our mid-level giving program, working with supporters who generously contribute between $500 and $10,000 each year. Through thoughtful communication, genuine stewardship and personalised experiences, you'll help our supporters feel valued, connected and inspired by the difference they're making for vulnerable animals across Queensland.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be writing a heartfelt supporter update or planning a stewardship campaign. The next, you'll be reviewing supporter insights, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, or collaborating with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications to create memorable supporter experiences.
If you enjoy building relationships, telling meaningful stories and helping people feel connected to a cause they care deeply about, we'd love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and helping supporters feel appreciated.
You understand that every interaction is an opportunity to strengthen someone's connection with our mission. Whether you're writing a personalised email, planning a supporter journey or reviewing engagement data, you enjoy finding thoughtful ways to make every supporter feel recognised and valued.
You'll be organised, collaborative and curious, with a willingness to learn and continuously improve the supporter experience. You don't need to have all the answers, but you'll enjoy looking for opportunities to build stronger relationships and help our fundraising grow.
Most importantly, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to help more animals by inspiring supporters to stay connected with RSPCA Queensland for years to come.
