Supported Living Facilitator| Disability Services, QCSS

  • Employment Term: Casual

  • Location:Ipswich

  • Remuneration:$43.23 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team

You’llprovide care to your clients living in the community, supporting theirindependenceand improving their quality of life.

With no two days ever the same,you’llspend your time on the road completing your scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients and their loved ones within their homes completing activities that include:

  • In home personal care, daily livingassistanceincluding showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry & ironing

  • Must be available to drive between clients with your own vehicle

  • Hours aremainly Mondayto Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm

  • Providing carein accordance withtheir individualised Care Plan

  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

  • Transportation andassistancewith shopping and appointments

What makes a difference for us?

  • Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent support to clients and co-workers

  • Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English

  • Experience working in the Disability, Aged and Community sector is ideal but not essential –as long asyou have positive attitude and a willingness to learn

  • A current NDIS Worker screening check

  • Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (requiredbefore you start)

  • OpenDriversLicense and access to vehicle

  • Car Insurance that is in your name
